- 2 Best Choice t-bone steaks
- ¼ cup of savory spice rub
- 2 cups of barbeque sauce (for serving)
Preheat and oil the grill. Make a 12-inch heavy-duty aluminum foil square. Place a cup of dry wood chips onto the foil. Fold the foil to cover the wood chips. Fold the sides of the foil 3 times. Press on the folds to firmly seal them.
Press the savory spice rub on the t-bone steaks.
Set the foil packet directly on the medium coals (don’t place it on the center, set it to one side). Grill the t-bone steaks in the center of the grid (not directly over the foil packet) for about 10 minutes per side for medium-rare or 12 minutes per side for medium doneness.
Once cooked, remove the steaks from the grill. Set them on a serving plate and let them stand for a few minutes. At the mean time, heat the sauce you made. Slice the t-bone steaks and season with salt and pepper. Serve with sauce.
