- 4 Best Choice t-bone steaks
- 3 tbsps. of butter
- 4 ears sweet corn (in husks)
Chili Glaze ingredients:
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- ½ cup of prepared steak sauce
- ½ tsp. of ground cumin
- 1 ½ tsps. of chili powder
Peel corn (leave husks attached to base) and remove silk. rewrap corn in husks and tie closed. Soak the corns in cold water for about 30 minutes. Mix all glaze ingredients. Remove and reserve ¼ cup.
After 30 minutes, drain corn. Grill them over medium, ash-covered coal; uncovered. Grill for about 20 to 30 minutes, turning occasionally.
After about 5 to 10 minutes grilling the corn, set the steaks on the grill. Grill the t-bone steaks uncovered for 14 to 16 minutes for medium-rare to medium doneness. Turn the steaks occasionally and brush the glaze during the last 5 minutes of grilling.
Mix the remaining or reserved ¼ cup glaze and butter in 1-cup glass measure. Microwave the mixture on high for about 1.5 to minutes, stirring once. Carefully peel the corn, brush with chili butter.
Serve the t-bone steaks and remaining chili butter.
